About Us
YS TOOLS · Woodworking Cutting Tools
We don’t sell tools. We sell clean cuts.
YS Tools supplies woodworking cutting tools and accessories to cabinet shops, furniture makers, CNC workshops and woodworking professionals across Canada.
From compression router bits and panel saw blades to boring bits, edge banding tools and tool holder accessories, we focus on practical tooling for the work you do every day.
Backed by precision manufacturing
Good tooling starts with the capability behind it. We work with a manufacturing partner whose facilities combine precision grinding, tool measurement, manual inspection and an independently owned coating operation.
The photographs below show our manufacturing partner’s facilities and equipment.

WALTER CNC tool grinding
Our manufacturing partner operates multiple WALTER CNC tool grinding machines, including HELITRONIC ESSENTIAL and HELITRONIC G 200 models. Precision grinding supports consistent cutting geometry and dimensional control during tool production.

Measurement backed by inspection
ZOLLER inspection systems and additional precision measuring equipment support checks of tool dimensions and cutting geometry. Instrument-based measurements are complemented by manual inspection, with attention to cutting-edge condition, dimensional consistency and tool runout.
Careful control of runout supports accurate cutting and consistent edge engagement. For application-specific tolerances or inspection requirements, contact us about the tool you need.

Factory-owned coating capability
Our manufacturing partner owns and operates its own coating facility. This capability provides greater control over coating processes and production coordination for coated tooling.

Tools selected for your application
Our range includes solid carbide, carbide-tipped and PCD tools for applications involving MDF, plywood, particleboard, melamine-faced panels and solid wood. We aim to offer well-made tooling at competitive prices, with clear specifications to help you choose confidently.
Let’s find the right tool
Tell us about your machine, material and required finish. Photos, dimensions or drawings of your existing tool can help us identify a suitable option. Custom tooling enquiries are welcome.
